Author - Lecturer - President of the International Academy of Chaplaincy for more than 10 years, Dr. Luis R. Piña has developed his call by training pastors and leaders in the exercise of ministerial and professional chaplaincy. He is a liaison and mentor of ministerial and governmental alliances and also a visionary of specialized education in Ministerial Chaplaincy.

He too, he holds a Doctorate in Chaplaincy, Arts in Divinity, as well as a Certification as a Clinical Pastoral Counselor. In addition, he serves as Pastor Chaplain, President of the International Academy of Chaplaincy and Co-Director of Men with Purpose Ministry, in the city of Miami, Fl.

​

 

As part of his ministerial work, he is also a member of the South Florida Pastors Association and on the Board of various religious and governmental organizations. In addition, he is the producer of the Podcast Leadership Ministerial and the program Actualidad con Propósitos.

​

 

Currently, Dr. Luis R. Piña resides in Miami, Fl., Along with his wife Joanna Cosme and his children Sebastian Ortiz and Mia Victoria Piña.
